He got things started for the visitors in the third inning. With two outs, the all-star doubled off the right-center field wall to put the Freedom up 2-0. Florence added four more in the top of the fourth inning to take a 6-0 lead. The dreaded leadoff walk got things started as the first three reached and scored in the inning. Justin Randall provided the big blow with a two run double off the ‘Big Dog’ wall in right. Greg Stone provided a spark for the Rascals in the bottom of the fifth. With one out, the shortstop connected for his first home run of the season, just clearing the right field wall to drive in three and cut the lead in half, 6-3. But the Freedom were too much down the stretch. Florence scored runs again in the sixth, eighth and ninth to put away River City. Molina ended the night 4-6 with two doubles and four RBI. The Rascals did have some excitement in the bottom of the ninth inning. Steven Allred singled for his first professional hit. Allred’s base knock was then followed by Jimmy Baker’s first hit as a Rascal, a two-run home run to left.
