Josh Ludy- The former player/coach is entering his sixth overall year with the Rascals as a coach for the second consecutive year. The Rascals former catcher helped lead the way offensively in 2017 hitting .288 in 95 games with 7 homeruns and 49 RBI. Ludy was a three-time Frontier League All-Star and played for two different Major League team farm systems (Phillies and Athletics), reaching as high as class A-Advanced. Since joining the coaching staff, the Rascals have been one of the most productive offenses in the League, leading many of the team batting stat categories during his time. Ludy was originally an eighth-round pick by the Phillies of the 2012 draft out of Baylor University where he was the Big12 player of the year his final season. Josh had a great career with the Rascals slashing .294 with 42 homeruns and 209 RBI’s in his four seasons.
