Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Jamie (29) began his professional baseball career with Capital City Bombers, while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration from the University of South Carolina. Jamie accepted the position of Director of Stadium Operations for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the Carolina League in 2000 before accepting the same position for the expansion Joliet JackHammers of the Independent Northern League in 2002. In Joliet, Jamie would assist in the development of Silver Cross Field, a state of the art 27 million dollar downtown ballpark development. In the spring of 2003, Jamie was hired as the Assistant Director of Florida Baseball Operations for Major League Baseball’s Pittsburgh Pirates. After one season with the Pirates, Jamie joined the Salem Avalanche of the Carolina League as Vice President and General Manager for the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Most recently, Jamie was the co-founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of the South Coast League, a southeastern based independent professional baseball league, before selling the majority interest in 2006. Jamie is married and he and his wife Katie, have three children; Gracie (5), Jackson (4), and Maggie (3 months).
